Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data BIBGroup EAD collects through bibg.bg, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Bulgarian Industrial Business Group EAD (BIBGroup EAD), UIC 202803213, Butterfly Business Center, 42 Okolovrasten Pat, 3rd floor, offices 1 and 9, 1415 Sofia, Bulgaria.
For any question about your data, write to info@bibg.bg or call +359 878 860 100.
What we collect and why
When you send the contact form
We receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and the language of the page you sent it from. We use them only to answer you and to follow up on your inquiry.
We do this at your request, as a step before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), and because answering inquiries is in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To keep out spam, the form also sends the time you opened it, and the service that receives it may keep your IP address for a short time to block repeated sending.
When you email or call us
We use your contact details and what you tell us in the same way, to answer you and to follow up on your inquiry.
When you visit the site
The server that hosts bibg.bg records technical data with each visit: your IP address, the page you opened, the time, and your browser's description. We need these records to keep the site running and secure, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you show the map
The map at the bottom of each page comes from Google Maps and loads only when you choose Show map. Your browser then connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies. We load the map only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): if you don't choose Show map, your browser sends nothing to Google. Google's privacy policy explains how Google uses this data.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our own pages set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising trackers. Google Maps may set cookies, but only after you choose Show map.
On the home page, your browser remembers for the current session that the opening animation has played, so that it doesn't play again. This note stays in your browser, which deletes it when you close it.
You can delete cookies and stored site data at any time in your browser's settings.
Who receives your data
We share your data only as far as needed:
- Our hosting and email providers, which process it for us under contract and only on our instructions.
- The company in our group that your inquiry concerns, so that it can answer you.
- Google, if you choose to show the map.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google may process data in the United States. Google LLC takes part in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognized as providing adequate protection. If any of our other providers processes data outside the European Union, we protect the transfer as the GDPR requires, for example with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep messages, and the details that come with them, as long as we need them to deal with your inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Our hosting provider deletes server records after a short time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can object to our use of your data based on legitimate interest, and ask to receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this doesn't affect what we did before.
To use these rights, write to info@bibg.bg. We will answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Commission for Personal Data Protection, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, 1592 Sofia, Bulgaria (www.cpdp.bg).
Do you have to give us your data?
No. But we need your name and email address to answer a message sent through the form; your phone number is optional. We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't profile you.

Our pages link to other websites, such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and the sites of our group companies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
